Customer: Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Event: Flooding Services: Emergency Service Water Extraction Structure Drying Temporary Power Environmental Controls Debris Removal Anti-Microbial Services Hygienic Wipe Down In the summer of 2007, the Neosho River overflowed its banks due to heavy rains. The flood waters inundated the campus of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. TRC Project Managers evaluated the situation and deployed the resources necessary to restore the twenty buildings affected. TRC provided auxiliary power, began immediately to extract water, set up drying equipment, restored environmental controls by cleaning and improving air quality and took anti-microbial precautions to combat contaminations resulting from the influx of polluted flood water. Project operations were overseen from TRC’s Emergency Operations Center. The self-contained command post gave TRC the ability to coordinate and communicate all aspects of restoration even during the first crucial hours in the midst of a wide spread power failure. |
