BIOMIST vs. "H1N1" a.k.a. "Swine Flu" |
Whether you call it by its technical name ("H1N1") or by its other name ("Swine Flu"), concern over the potential pandemic is sweeping the nation. New cases are being reported. At this point, how far this will spread and how many people will be affected is anyone's guess. However, the old saying is very true" "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." There is naturally an increasing awareness regarding preventive measures in the workplace. TRC uses BIOMIST, a professional sanitizing product and application process guaranteed to kill a wide range of viruses, staph infections including MRSA, E. coli, hepatitis B, and a very long list of others.

| "We have a roof in our hole!" |
Some people have a hole in their roof. After a spring blizzard dropped a load of heavy, wet snow on western Oklahoma, the school at Fort Supply had "a roof in its hole!" | After the Storm: Helping Children Cope with Disasters |
Tornados can do a lot more harm than just damage property. Like other natural or man-made disasters, they can take a toll in human experience. After the storm, we don't feel as safe and our sense of well-being is affected. Unfortunately, the ones who usually suffer most are children.
After a storm or other disaster, children may exhibit any of a number of emotions. They are especially vulnerable because they don't have the experience of life to understand that things will eventually return to normal.

| Thinking "Inside" the Box! |
We've all seen news coverage of a disaster somewhere in the world. Floods, fires and earthquakes are all too common. When former British Navy man Tom Henderson saw a disaster in a TV news report, he decided to do something. Tom invented the Shelter Box. Literally, it is a shelter-in-a-box. Each Shelter Box contains everything needed to make a tent a home for up to six months.
